|
The Asheville Moonshiners stopped the Milwaukee Otters, 9-3, at Stags Ballpark. The Moonshiners got a big game from Deivi Cruz, who was 2 for 3 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The Moonshiners now have a record of 32-26 with the win over Milwaukee.
Cruz's key contribution came in the top of the second when he sent a first pitch fastball into left for a 2-run triple. It put the Moonshiners ahead, 2-0.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Cruz.
