Walk-Off Victory for Dairy Daddies Takes Record to 26-33
|
The Danville Dairy Daddies got a strong performance from pitcher Tim Worrell, who stymied the Bluff City offense en route to a 4-2 win at Kernels Ballpark. Danville reliever A J Sager picked up the win to move to 1-0. Kevin Wickander suffered the loss. Danville has now won 3 straight, while the Beasties have lost 3 in a row.
Brant Brown's at-bat in the bottom of the tenth was significant, coming with a runner on 1st and the game tied, 2-2. The Danville left fielder hit a 2-run home run off Joe Hudson to put the Dairy Daddies up.
