The Milwaukee Otters used an offensive barrage to beat the Bluff City Beasties, 11-1, at Ravens Ballpark. Oddibe McDowell led the way, going 3-for-4 for Milwaukee. Willie Blair, credited with the win, is now 8-2. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits in 9 innings. Bluff City, at 30-30, has lost 4 straight.

In the top of the first, McDowell pounced on a 1-1 fastball from Mike K Johnson and hit a 2-run home run. It put Milwaukee on top, 2-0.
