Otters Need Extras to Top Beasties
The Milwaukee Otters beat the Bluff City Beasties, 9-8, at Ravens Ballpark. Robby Thompson was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. The former first round draft pick was a menace to Bluff City all day. Marc Pisciotta got credit for the win, improving to 5-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Mike Myers, credited with the save, is now 2 for 4 in save opportunities.

Chris Sabo had a productive at-bat for the Otters with two out in the top of the tenth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, the third baseman hit a run-scoring single. The at-bat was important in the Milwaukee win.
