Blue Crabs Hold Off Dairy Daddies, 5-4
|
The Ocean City Blue Crabs topped the Danville Dairy Daddies, 5-4, in Atlantic action at Fire Dogs Ballpark. The player of the game was Ocean City pitcher and New York native Miguel Jimenez. The Blue Crabs sit in last place in the Atlantic Southeast with a record of 24-37.
Tony Longmire had a nice at-bat for the Blue Crabs with one out in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, the right fielder hit a 2-run double, which would prove important in the Ocean City win.
"I know we have our doubters," said Danville manager . "But I still have high hopes for this team."
