Stags Ballpark was the site of a competitive game between the Milwaukee Otters and Danville Dairy Daddies.

The Dairy Daddies faced a stiff challenge from Milwaukee pitcher Les Lancaster, but persevered to claim a win at Stags Ballpark. The final score was 3-1. Lancaster went 5 innings and allowed no earned runs. The Dairy Daddies go to 28-35, putting them last in the Atlantic Southeast.

The Dairy Daddies got an important contribution from right fielder Midre Cummings, who in the top of the eighth hit a 1-0 changeup into left for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Dairy Daddies ahead, 3-1.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Milwaukee skipper , "and it cost us."
