Jacksonville and Ocean City duked it out at Field of the Running Rebels and the Suns came out victorious.

The Jacksonville Suns stopped the Ocean City Blue Crabs, 5-2, behind an impressive performance from Chris Gomez. The 25-year old second baseman made life miserable for Ocean City pitching. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times. The Suns bumped their record to 33-30 with this latest triumph.

Having an impact for Jacksonville was Sean Casey. In the bottom of the fifth inning, the 22-year old first baseman had a 3-run home run to make the score 5-0, Suns.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Casey said.
