With second baseman Manny Alexander leading the charge, the Ocean City Blue Crabs defeated the Jacksonville Suns, 15-4, at Field of the Running Rebels. Alexander went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Jamie Brewington got the win, improving to 6-4. He worked 8.2 innings, giving up 4 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Ocean City goes to 34-30, Jacksonville to 33-31.

The Blue Crabs grabbed the lead in the top of the fourth. With two out, Junior Felix hit a grand slam home run off Clint Sodowsky, putting Ocean City in front, 9-4. For Felix, it was his 11th home run of the season.

Felix told a Ocean City Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
