The Ocean City Blue Crabs got a good effort from starter Kevin Jarvis in defeating the Jacksonville Suns at Field of the Running Rebels. The final score was 5-2. Jarvis picked up the win for Ocean City, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 7-3. The Blue Crabs bumped their record to 35-30 with this latest triumph.

It could have been a different outcome for Ocean City, had it not been for Scott Leius, the 31-year old third baseman . Leius contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the first inning to put Ocean City up, 2-0.

"I thought we played a nice game," Leius told the Ocean City Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
