Bisons Drop Clippers with Late Score
The Buffalo Bisons did just enough to sneak past the Columbus Clippers, 5-4, at Aspinwall Grounds. Buffalo designated hitter Kevin McReynolds earned player of the game honors. Buffalo reliever Andres Berumen picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jeff Pico took the loss. Buffalo is now 47-16, 4½ games up in the Atlantic Northeast.

David Howard was the walk-off hero for Buffalo. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bisons shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," McReynolds said.
