The Columbus Clippers picked up a win at Mules Ballpark, knocking off the Rochester Red Wings, 4-3. Starting pitcher Jamey Wright was an essential part of his team's success. The Clippers saw their record improve to 32-34.
Alberto T Castillo contributed an important at-bat in the bottom of the second. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 2-run double. It was one at-bat that helped send Columbus to the win.
Rochester manager said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
