Multi-HR Game for Brown in 14-7 Win
The Danville Dairy Daddies topped the Savannah Swamp Foxes by the score of 14-7, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Brant Brown. Brown hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Dairy Daddies. Scott Scudder was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Rusty Greer had a big run-scoring triple for the Dairy Daddies in the bottom of the third inning. With Danville leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from John Wasdin and stroked the triple to right-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dairy Daddies ahead, 2-0.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Greer said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
