Beasties Bang Out 16-4 Win Versus Brooklyn
The Brooklyn Cyclones and Bluff City Beasties cranked it up at Ravens Ballpark.

The Bluff City Beasties defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 16-4, at Ravens Ballpark. Bluff City left fielder Felix Jose was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and 3 walks. He scored 3 times. Bluff City reliever Dan Serafini was credited with the win, to go to 4-0. Matt Perisho took the loss for Brooklyn.

One significant plate appearance for Bluff City came with no one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. Beasties third baseman Tom Evans hit a bases-clearing triple, which helped Bluff City go on to win.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Evans.

The 5th-place Beasties improved to 33-33.
