Asheville's Banks Stands out in Shutout
Willie Banks of the Asheville Moonshiners humiliated the Toledo Mud Hens at Torrance Grounds today, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 1 hit.

"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Toledo manager , after the game.

Banks whiffed 11 and walked 1 in the 13-0 win.

"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Banks said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."

In 8 starts this season Banks has compiled a 3-3 record and a 4.10 ERA.
