Blue Crabs Jolt Moonshiners with Late Rally
The Blue Crabs faced a stiff challenge from Asheville pitcher Matt Beech, but persevered to claim a win at Fire Dogs Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Beech went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. Pep Harris picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-3. Matt Beech was tagged with the loss. Brian Bevil closed the game out for Ocean City, earning his 13th save.

One significant plate appearance for Ocean City came with two out in the bottom of the sixth inning. Blue Crabs designated hitter Garey Ingram hit a run-scoring double, which helped Ocean City go on to win.

"We were in it," said Asheville manager . "We just didn't score enough runs."

Ocean City is now 37-31, while Asheville is 38-30.
