Treadway Helps Bluff City Cruise to 12-3 Win
Behind the bravura of shortstop Jeff Treadway, the Bluff City Beasties topped the Ocean City Blue Crabs by the score of 12-3. Treadway went 4-4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Beasties. Bluff City reliever Dan Serafini got the win, raising his record to 5-0. Kevin Jarvis was tagged with the loss. Bluff City is now 36-34. Ocean City is 38-32.

Jesus Tavarez tagged a home run off Kevin Jarvis in the top of the second. His 3-run blast put the Beasties on top, 3-1. In all, Tavarez had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
