Blue Crabs Beat Visiting Beasties, 9-4
|
The Ocean City Blue Crabs topped the Bluff City Beasties by the score of 9-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Pedro Valdes. Valdes went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blue Crabs on the day. Chad Ogea was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. The Blue Crabs' win now puts them at 39-32.
Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at Fire Dogs Ballpark seemed to enjoy watching the Atlantic action.
