The Hartford Whalers topped the Asheville Moonshiners by the score of 8-5, with the largest share of the credit going to left fielder Rod Myers. Myers went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Whalers. Cory Lidle, credited with the save, is now 23 for 26 in save opportunities.
