Cyclones Continue Skid Thanks to Martinez, Otters
The Milwaukee Otters beat the Brooklyn Cyclones, 17-4, at Stags Ballpark. The Otters got a fine performance from first baseman Carlos A. Martinez, who captured player of the game honors. He went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times. Marc Pisciotta notched his 2nd save in 2 chances. Brooklyn's current losing streak is now 9 games.

Brady Anderson dealt the Cyclones a blow in the bottom of the second. Batting with the bases loaded and Milwaukee leading 3-2, Anderson hit a full count fastball for a run-scoring single.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Anderson told the Milwaukee Gazette.
