Otters, Thompson Blast Cyclones
|
It was a fun time at Stags Ballpark, where the Brooklyn Cyclones and Milwaukee Otters tangled.
The Milwaukee Otters easily defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 19-2, at Stags Ballpark, with shortstop Robby Thompson a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for Milwaukee. Reliever Marc Pisciotta picked up the win. His record improves to 7-1. Brian Barber took the loss.
The fans who came in support of the Otters were pleased with the outcome. It was what they had hoped for when they passed through the turnstiles at Stags Ballpark.
"They took us to the woodshed," said Brooklyn manager .
With the win over Brooklyn, the Otters improved to 39-35.
