Victory Pushes Blue Crabs Record to 40-33
Spirited fans at Kernels Ballpark greeted the Danville Dairy Daddies for their clash with the Ocean City Blue Crabs.

The Ocean City Blue Crabs beat the Danville Dairy Daddies, 7-2, at Kernels Ballpark. Ocean City center fielder Jarvis Brown earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Ocean City occupies third place in the Atlantic Southeast at 40-33.

Brown contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Ocean City in the top of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Brown took a sinker from Roger Salkeld and stroked the home run to left-center. His 6th home run of the season allowed the Blue Crabs to leap in front, 3-2.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Brown said.
