Blue Crabs Win at Danville, 5-1
|
Spirited fans at Kernels Ballpark greeted the Danville Dairy Daddies for their clash with the Ocean City Blue Crabs.
The Ocean City Blue Crabs picked up a win at Kernels Ballpark, knocking off the Danville Dairy Daddies, 5-1. Starting pitcher Jamie Brewington was an essential part of his team's success. Brian Bevil converted his 15th save in 17 tries.
Cheron Farley in the top of the second had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 2nd and the Blue Crabs leading 1-0, the Ocean City shortstop hit a 3-run home run.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Farley told the Ocean City Observer.
With the win over Danville, the Blue Crabs improved to 41-33.
