Buffalo beat Ocean City on the strength of starter Mark Gardner's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 7-2 win. Gardner got the win, improving to 9-2. He allowed 5 hits and walked 1 over 8.2 innings. Gardner allowed 1 earned run. The last-place Blue Crabs have lost 9 straight games.
