|
The Rochester Red Wings beat the Asheville Moonshiners, 4-2, at Torrance Grounds. Rochester designated hitter Terrell Lowery earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. Today's win puts Rochester at 31-46, while Asheville falls to 43-34.
Lowery had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a single. The Red Wings went on to win.
"We'll savor this win," Lowery told the Rochester Daily News, "then get ready for the next game."
