Clippers Win Thriller, 6-5
Columbus beat Danville at Mules Ballpark, eking out a 6-5 win. The win was due in large part to left fielder Bubba Trammell, who earned player of the game honors. The 4th-place Clippers are now 35-43, the Dairy Daddies 36-42.

Trammell had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the 12th. On a 0-2 slider from A J Sager, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Clippers a 6-5 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Trammell.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Trammell. "I like it."
