Blue Crabs Mow Down Suns, 9-1
Spirited fans at Field of the Running Rebels greeted the Jacksonville Suns for their clash with the Ocean City Blue Crabs.

Ocean City pitcher Dave Mlicki did his part in helping his team beat the Jacksonville Suns, 9-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Mlicki went the distance for Ocean City. He gave up 1 earned run on 6 hits.

Curtis Pride contributed an important at-bat in the top of the third. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam. It was one at-bat that helped send Ocean City to the win.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Pride told the Ocean City News.

The last-place Blue Crabs are now 31-48, the Suns 50-29.
