Late Rally by Blue Crabs Secures Win
Fans who gathered at Paradise Grounds saw a good contest between the Ocean City Blue Crabs and Savannah Swamp Foxes.

Ocean City turned a good effort from starter Jamie Brewington into a win over the Savannah Swamp Foxes at Paradise Grounds. The final score was 4-2. Brewington, now 9-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 1, and allowing 2 earned runs.

Ocean City third baseman Scott Leius produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the eighth with Mitch Williams on the mound and Ocean City leading 2-1. Leius hit a 2-run single.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Ocean City manager .

The Blue Crabs now have a record of 44-35 with the win over Savannah.
