Mashore Stars for Red Wings in 8-4 Win

The Bluff City Beasties and Rochester Red Wings cranked it up at Ballpark of Ft. Lauderdale.
Red Wings right fielder Damon Mashore put his stamp on his team's 8-4 win over the Bluff City Beasties. Mashore was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3 for Rochester in the contest. Rochester is now 33-47.
The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fifth when Mashore, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1995 draft, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Red Wings into the lead, 6-3.
"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Red Wings manager . "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
