Cyclones Continue Skid Thanks to Abbott, Blue Crabs
The Ocean City Blue Crabs defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 8-4, in Atlantic action at Fire Dogs Ballpark, with Ocean City designated hitter Jeff Abbott named player of the game. The current losing streak for Brooklyn has reached 8 games.

Abbott came through with some timely hitting for Ocean City. With the score 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth and two down, Abbott hit a 3-1 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season made it 7-4, Ocean City.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Abbott told the Ocean City Observer.
