Multi-HR Game for Jose in 11-9 Win
A 3-RBI performance from Felix Jose helped the Bluff City Beasties beat the Asheville Moonshiners, 11-9. The Beasties saw their win-loss record go to 42-43. At the same time, the Moonshiners fell to 49-36.

Dante Powell chipped in for Bluff City with a 3-run home run in the top of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.

Beasties manager wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
