Suns Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Brooklyn
|
Jacksonville Suns starter Kevin Ritz pitched effectively against the Brooklyn Cyclones at Ballpark of Fremont. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 6-3 win. In 8 innings, Ritz surrendered 9 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. Tony Fossas was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 20 of 20 save opportunities.
Steve Buechele had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the top of the first inning. With the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly, helping Jacksonville to the win.
