Royals Lose to Yankees, 6-2
|
A 3-RBI performance from right fielder Bobby Abreu, the 6th overall pick in the 1995 draft, led the New York Yankees to a 6-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. The Yankees are off to a tough start, getting just their 4th win in 18 games.
New York took the lead in the bottom of the fifth when Abreu hit a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season made the score 3-2, New York.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Abreu.
