Spirited fans at Ravens Ballpark greeted the Bluff City Beasties for their clash with the Danville Dairy Daddies.

The Danville Dairy Daddies got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Cal Eldred, but it was good enough for the club to take a 6-2 decision over the Bluff City Beasties. The last-place Dairy Daddies raised their record to 40-51.

Eldred pitched a complete game for Danville. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits. He struck out 9 during his 115-pitch performance.

"I expect to pitch a complete game every time out," said Eldred.
