It was a good time at Fire Dogs Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Columbus Clippers and Ocean City Blue Crabs get after it.

Ocean City rode a decent outing from starter Ariel Prieto to victory over the Columbus Clippers at Fire Dogs Ballpark. The final score was 12-3. Ocean City is now 51-41.

Don Mattingly aided the Ocean City cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the first baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.

Mattingly said his wife shared good advice with him before the game. "She said, 'Don't allow this game to make you mad.' When I thought about it, I realized this is just a game. I was able to relax at the plate."
