Spirited fans at Ballpark of Fremont greeted the Brooklyn Cyclones for their clash with the Rochester Red Wings.

The Rochester Red Wings knocked off the Brooklyn Cyclones, 12-4, at Ballpark of Fremont. Jacob Brumfield, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Rochester won. The left fielder went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 times. Rochester reliever Joe Ausanio picked up the win, upping his record to 5-1. Brian Barber took the loss. Oscar Munoz, credited with the save, is now 3 for 4 in save opportunities.

The Red Wings scored in the top of the first when Tim Unroe hit a 2-run double to make the score 3-0, Rochester.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Brooklyn manager .

The losses continue to mount for Brooklyn, which has now dropped 17 in a row.
