Otters Deal Beasties Painful Loss
The Milwaukee Otters eked out a 8-7 win versus the Bluff City Beasties at Stags Ballpark. Nobody did more than catcher Brian Harper, who captured player of the game honors. The Otters bumped their record to 48-46 with this latest triumph.

Harper had a game-changing single in the bottom of the ninth. On a first pitch curveball from Marty Janzen, he banged a run-scoring single to right, giving the Otters a 8-7 lead. It was the 79th hit of the year for Harper.

"We saved our best for last," said Harper.
