The Jacksonville Suns picked up a win at Fire Dogs Ballpark, knocking off the Ocean City Blue Crabs, 7-3. Starting pitcher Ryan Bowen was an essential part of his team's success. Ocean City has now lost 4 consecutive games.
It could have been a different outcome for Jacksonville, had it not been for Sean Casey, the top prospect . Casey contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put Jacksonville up, 4-3.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Bowen.
