The Danville Dairy Daddies and Savannah Swamp Foxes provided some drama at Paradise Grounds.
The Savannah Swamp Foxes trumped the Danville Dairy Daddies, 3-2, at Paradise Grounds. Savannah left fielder Tony Longmire was named player of the game for his performance. He went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk. Jason Dickson picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 10-5. Aaron Small was tagged with the loss.
Savannah took control in the bottom of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Jimmy Hurst hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Swamp Foxes.
"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Savannah manager .
The winning continues for Savannah, with the latest making it 7 straight.
