Swamp Foxes Come Back Late to Top Otters
|
The Savannah Swamp Foxes got a good effort from starter John Wasdin in defeating the Milwaukee Otters at Stags Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. The Swamp Foxes now have a record of 59-45 with the win over Milwaukee.
Tony Longmire, who is tied for 9th in the ATL in total bases with 211, helped out the Savannah cause in the top of the ninth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-4 with a double and a walk.
"I liked his command," said Savannah manager . "John was throwing strikes."
