Savannah got a strong outing from Ariel Prieto as the Swamp Foxes defeated the Asheville Moonshiners, 3-2, at Torrance Grounds. Dustin Hermanson earned his 6th save in 7 chances. Savannah has now won 3 in a row.

Savannah used the clutch hitting of Paul Carey to capture the win. The first baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to give the Swamp Foxes the lead, 3-0. For the game, Carey had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
