Victory Pushes Clippers Record to 55-50
|
Tilson Brito had a hand in Columbus defeating Danville by the score of 11-8. Brito went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 3 times and driving in 1 runs. Carlos Pulido picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-8. He struck out 2 in 6.1 innings. The Clippers saw their record improve to 55-50.
Dave McCarty contributed to the Columbus win with a 2-run single in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 RBI.
