Benes Shuts Out Slammers
|
The Savannah Swamp Foxes rolled to an easy 9-0 win over the Southeast Slammers at Paradise Grounds today. Leading the way to victory was starter Alan Benes, who shackled the Southeast Slammers and held them scoreless on a 2-hitter.
"This is what every pitcher wants to do when they go out there," Benes said in his postgame press conference.
