Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Jacksonville Suns got the win.

The Jacksonville Suns got a strong performance from pitcher Clint Sodowsky, who stymied the Buffalo offense en route to a 4-2 win at Field of the Running Rebels. Rich Loiselle got the save, his 8th in 8 chances.

Carter Haney had a productive trip to the plate with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning. With the bases empty, he hit a solo home run, helping Jacksonville to the win.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Jacksonville manager . "It's usually not just one thing."

Jacksonville now sits in 4th place in the Atlantic Southeast at 55-51.
