Buffalo got a terrific performance from pitcher Brad Radke, but it wasn't enough to beat the Jacksonville Suns. Jacksonville won the Field of the Running Rebels contest, 2-1. Radke was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 8 innings of 6-hit ball. Eric Nolte was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 1 run on 9 hits, with 2 walks and no strikeouts. Rich Loiselle converted his 9th save in 9 tries.
