The Jacksonville Suns got a stellar performance from pitcher Ricky Bones, who handcuffed the Rochester offense en route to a 5-2 win at Field of the Running Rebels. Shayne Bennett converted his 8th save in 11 tries. Jacksonville is second in the Atlantic Southeast with a record of 62-45.

Jeff Reboulet had a big run-scoring single for the Suns in the bottom of the first inning. With Jacksonville leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Wade Taylor and stroked the single to right. It was his 105th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Suns ahead, 3-1.

"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Reboulet said.
