Today was Pete Schourek's turn in the rotation for the Asheville Moonshiners and he made the most of it, shutting out the Milwaukee Otters on 3 hits.

The 27-year-old left-hander led the Moonshiners to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing 2 walks and tallying 6 strikeouts.

"I hope we miss him next time," Milwaukee manager said. "Schourek certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
