Otters third baseman Tom Marsh put his stamp on his team's 3-2 win over the Asheville Moonshiners. Marsh went 3-4 with 3 singles for Milwaukee in the contest. Milwaukee reliever Brad Holman got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Salomon Torres was tagged with the loss. The win boosts the Otters to 51-59. The loss puts the Moonshiners at 68-42.

Mike A. Bell aided the Milwaukee cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Bell said after the game.
