No matter what the Danville Dairy Daddies threw at him today, Doug Glanville hit it. He easily handled Dairy Daddies pitching, going 5 for 7 and helping the Whalers to a 21-3 triumph at Wolves Ballpark.

"The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Glanville's quip, Dairy Daddies skipper said he "would take him up on that next time."

Doug Glanville singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI triple in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.

This year Glanville is hitting .442, produced 7 RBIs and 1 home runs, scored 13 times and gotten on base at a .467 rate.
