Clippers Lose, 9-3, at Ravens Ballpark
|
Southeast right fielder Joe Vitiello had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 9-3 win over the Columbus Clippers. Southeast reliever Greg Gohr picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. Carlos Pulido shouldered the loss. The Slammers saw their record improve to 62-48.
Vitiello had a key at-bat for Southeast early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single. It was his 119th hit of the season and gave Southeast an early 2-0 lead.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Vitiello.
