Blue Crabs Rally For Late Win Over Bisons
|
Behind a solid performance from catcher Einar Diaz, the Ocean City Blue Crabs defeated the Buffalo Bisons, 7-6. Diaz was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Blue Crabs. Pep Harris picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-1. Tim Fortugno was tagged with the loss. Buffalo has now lost 4 in a row.
Ocean City took the lead in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Manny Alexander stroked a 2-run single to make it 7-6, Blue Crabs.
"We'll savor this win," Diaz told the Ocean City News, "then get ready for the next game."
