Extra-Inning Win by Blue Crabs over Bisons
The Ocean City Blue Crabs knocked off the Buffalo Bisons, 8-4, at Aspinwall Grounds. Cesar Devarez, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Ocean City won. The catcher went 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The last-place Blue Crabs are now 44-64, the Bisons 79-29.

Ocean City first baseman Guillermo Velasquez had a key at-bat for the Blue Crabs in the top of the tenth inning. Facing right-hander Brian Shouse, Velasquez hit a 2-run single. It put Ocean City in front, 6-4. For the day, Velasquez was 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager said.
