The Danville Dairy Daddies did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Buffalo Bisons at Kernels Ballpark. Nobody did more than right fielder Lloyd Moseby, who captured player of the game honors. Danville reliever Ron Mahay picked up the win to move to 10-1. Shawn Boskie suffered the loss. Felix Rodriguez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 25 save opportunities.
Floyd Rayford, the Danville third baseman, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fifth inning to make the score 4-2, Dairy Daddies. For the game, Rayford went 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs.
"I had some good swings out there," said Moseby.
Danville has now won 3 in a row.
