Burnitz Delivers Walk-Off Win for Royals
The Kansas City Royals got a rather unremarkable outing from starting pitcher Denny Neagle, but it was good enough for the club to take a 5-4 decision over the Chicago Cubs. Kansas City has a record of 1-1.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Kansas City left fielder Jeromy Burnitz, facing Frank DiPino, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Royals the 5-4 win.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Neagle told the Kansas City Chronicle. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
